Cross and Morse was formed in 1984 by the union of T.D. Cross and Morse Chain, two long established and well respected companies. Headquarters and manufacturing operation at Birmingham, in the West Midlands, the privately owned company specialises in manufacturing and supplying mechanical power transmission products of all types, ranging from sprockets and chains, to gears and clutches.
Cross and Morse manufactures and supplies both B.S. and ANSI chains from 0.25 inches up to 2.5 inches in simplex and multistrand, complete with range of attachments. Inverted tooth chains For high torque and shaft speeds with very low noise levels are capable of transmitting up to 4,000 kw and speeds up to 12,000 rpm.
