- UK Export News — www.ukexportnews.co.uk — breaking news for British exporters

What Information We Collect
Database users (searchers)
We do not require registration to search the database. We may log search terms anonymously to improve the service and identify popular sectors. No personally identifiable information is collected during a search.
Company listings
If you submit your company to the database, we collect your company name, address, telephone number, email address, website URL, and contact names. This information is displayed publicly in the database by its nature.
News alert subscribers
To deliver sector-specific email alerts we collect your name, job title, company name, address, telephone number, and email address. This data is used solely to deliver the alerts you have requested.
Press release submissions
We collect the name, company, and contact details provided in submitted press releases. These contact details are published alongside the article as the submitter intends.
Website visitors
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous data about how visitors use our websites, including pages visited, time on site, and approximate geographic location. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
Contact form enquiries
When you send us an enquiry via our contact forms, we collect your name, company, email address, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

Email News Alerts

Sharing Your Information

- Company listing information is publicly displayed in the database by its nature and with the submitter's knowledge
- Press release contact details are published as submitted by the author
- Buyer enquiries are forwarded to the relevant listed company at the buyer's request
- We may disclose information where required by law or by a regulatory authority
Data Retention
- News alert subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
- Company listing data is retained until you request removal from the database
- Contact form enquiries are retained for 12 months then securely deleted
- Anonymous analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics' standard retention periods
You can request deletion of any personal data we hold at any time by contacting us at info@exportuk.co.uk.
